Sue Warady-Keene

Assistant to the Committeeman
Sue Warady-Keene – a long life resident of Streamwood, living with her family and beautiful daughter Alexandria. Sue currently serves as the assistant to the committeeman and operations manager to the organization. She is the muscle behind making it happen and carries a huge responsibility to ensure campaigns flow smoothly during the election cycle and throughout the year.

Sue attended Oakhill Elementary School, Tefft Middle School and graduated in 1991 from Streamwood High School. She is a dedicated mom to her daughter Alex, in which 2008 was diagnosed with Down syndrome. Since then has actively been involved with numerous organizations pushing for research and awareness for Down syndrome.

She is the proud wife of a tradesman belonging to the Iron Workers Local Union #1. Sue’s mission is to get involved with the community, be a voice for all middle class families and be an advocate for families who have children or family members with special needs. Her involvement includes being part of organizations such as MODS (Moms Organization for Down Syndrome), Elite Stars Athletic Organization, UPS for DownS, The Chicagoland Buddywalk, Drive for Downs and The Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Drive.

Sue has been a key player in the success of the re-election for State Representative Fred Crespo. She worked on the campaign coordinating more than sixty volunteers in and out of our campaign headquarters in Hoffman Estates.


Nazneen Hashmi

Deputy Committeeman
Nazneen Hashmi, Deputy Committeeman of the Hanover Township Democratic Organization. Nazneen has been a resident of Hanover Township for over 25 years and resides in Streamwood. She works in the information technology department for a major global company. Her passion has always been to give back to her community.

Nazneen believes in serving her community and volunteers for several organizations. In 2010, she was appointed to the Village of Streamwood Community Relations Commission. She is an active member of the YMCA’s Golden Corridor Family Program, the Streamwood and Bartlett woman’s club and a member of the Indian American Democratic Organization.

Among many other political duties, Nazneen understand the political process by having served as an election judge, having worked on numerous campaigns supporting candidates such as Congressman Tammy Duckworth, Senator Michael Noland, State Representative Fred Crespo and various other local candidates.

She understands what it takes to support candidates in an election by assisting in phone banking, canvassing, and getting the vote out. As Deputy Committeeman, Nazneen will take the organization to new heights by bringing diversity and a fair and open minded approach to supporting qualified candidates.


Tommy Hendrix Jr.

Community Outreach Coordinator
Tommy Hendrix Jr. was born in 1977 in the Near NW side of Chicago to a natural born Puerto Rican mother who migrated in the 1960’s and a 2nd generation Sicilian/Anglo-Saxon American father.

Tommy and his family moved to Hoffman Estates in 2005 and recently moved into a single family home in the great Village of Hanover Park with his fiancé and three sons.

As a profession, he is a Permit Assistant with the Forest Preserves of Cook County in the Permits & Revenue division where he began his employment in the summer of 2004. In addition, Tommy works in the family operated printing business as a graphic designer, union printer and consultant.

His active community involvement started at a very young age as a kid in the Near NW side of Chicago helping his grandmother serve summer lunches at the community play lot to the other neighborhood children back in the 1980’s. This helped make Mr. Hendrix realize that he had a passion for community so since the mid 90’s to present has been a Precinct Captain, Volunteer Area Coordinator and Area Manager for a vast of many different local municipalities, state and federal elections.

Over the years, Tommy has served his community and has been involved in many political events

  • Member/Officer of El Jaala Grotto M.O.V.P.E.R. Des Plaines, IL.

Tommy Hendrix Jr. will be a great asset to Hanover Township Democratic Organization as the Community Outreach Coordinator with his history of helping community by bringing the many different services together while protecting our Democratic principles!
